ABOUT THE SHOW:

This staged reading brings to life the struggles and aspirations of three sisters as one walks the globe to find her purpose, one searches for adventure, and the third grows where she is planted. Twenty years later, having circumnavigated the globe, fought Vikings, crossed oceans, tamed wilds, and achieved greatness, the three meet again, entirely different people than they had been the day they parted. Join us for this moving and irresistibly charming modern-day fable – perfect for audiences young and old alike – as Acme's creative team of actors and technicians light our imaginations on fire!

Actor Invitation:
Come be a part of this low-stakes, fun, inventive production! This project is an opportunity for actors of all experience levels to grow their acting skills in a fun and non-intense rehearsal process. This process will focus heavily on building a strong ensemble, projection, and physical storytelling. Because this is a staged reading, actors are not expected to be off book (memorize lines).

Come help us build a play!  We are looking for folks to be on the technical teams below.  Each team is led by one of our student designers!

About Acme's Audition Process

Acme Theatre Company invites all 9th-12th grade students to audition to act or sign up to work as technicians for our three main stage shows and one staged reading this season. There is no cost to participate in Acme Theatre Company.  No theatre experience is required!

We invite and welcome company members of all ethnicities, races, gender identities, ages, and body types, as well as performers with disabilities, to join us.

We hold open auditions before each production.

Audition sign-up info will be posted on this page as it becomes available.

Actors are asked to complete a Google form, sign up for a 10-minute slot, prepare a monologue, attend the 10-minute individual slot, and then attend a group session.  Technicians are asked to sign up on the Google form, and then we will contact you regarding technical work as the process unfolds!
