Ridiculousness abounds in this cheeky, hilarious and rhyming adaptation of Corneille’s famous farce. A charming, incorrigible liar, Dorante has come to Paris seeking pleasure. He falls head over heels for the beautiful Clarice, who he has mistaken for her best friend, Lucrece. Further complicating matters is that, unbeknownst to Dorante, Clarice is already engaged - to his childhood friend, Alcippe. Throw in a servant who cannot tell a lie, a father who is anxious to marry off his wayward son, a set of identical twins, and prepare for a rollicking evening of fun!

PLEASE BRING:

Audience members are asked to bring their own lawn-chairs or blankets.

Warm layers are strongly encouraged - Act 2 is more fun if you are cozy!
